Guarantees and Returns
Leatherhelms takes pride in its product, and makes a great effort to ensure high quality. Since the helms are made of natural materials, there will be unavoidable variations in color and texture, but we select the best from what nature provides.
Our good reputation is paramount. We will gladly repair or replace any helmet that is defective in workmanship, materials, or damaged in shipment. This excludes any helmet that is abused. These helms are not meant for combat, and damage resulting from such activity is not covered by any repair policy or guarantee. Our helms are not DOT approved as safety helmets.
Leatherhelms is not liable for any injury sustained by the wearer while using our helmets. All the helmets are waterproofed with an acrylic to make them water resistant, but avoid wearing them in the rain, as this may water stain the leather, and may eventually soften it. Experiments are ongoing to make them completely waterproof.
